IMMERSION ROOM

At Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, which underwent a complete renovation in 2014, guests draw their own designs on ultrahigh-definition touch-screen tables in the Immersion Room. The designs are then reflected as “wallpaper.” Talk to your AV team about replicating the experience for a breakout room.

VROOM. VROOM.

Marriott hit the virtual reality scene fast and furious in September 2015 when it launched its VRoom Service program at two locations: New York Marriott Marquis and London Marriott Hotel Park Lane. VRoom uses Samsung Gear VR for guests to experience the world—like the Andes Mountains in Chile or an ice cream shop in Rwanda—from the comfort of their rooms.
