Meegan Jones has been recognized as a global leader in event sustainability. She’s a sustainability advisor and director at GreenShoot Pacific, a company that provides strategy and solutions for live events and productions. She’s authored “Sustainable Event Management: A Practical Guide” and was asked in 2013 to work with Qatar Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in developing the sustainability strategy for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. She was a sector expert in the global working groups developing the GRI Event Organizers Sector Supplement and ISO 20121. She was a project consultant for the UNEP Music and Environment Initiative. She also is chair of the Sustainable Event Alliance and co-developer and technical advisor to the SEMS Tool.
