Hilton Carlsbad now open

Thirty miles from the San Diego International Airport and directly across from Ponto Beach in northern San Diego County, the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort and Spa is now open. The resort has views of the Pacific Ocean from many of its 215 guest rooms, as well as from much of the property’s 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. Each guest room has a mini-refrigerator, 42-inch television and complimentary Wi-Fi. The 5,600-sq.-ft. Ocean Crest Spa offers treatments inspired by the sea using organic products derived from coastal California plants. The on-site restaurant also draws inspiration from the coast, offering regional cuisine and locally grown items on the menu. Open-air terraces and outdoor fire pits take advantage of the area’s year-round sunny weather, and a large saltwater pool brings the ocean into the resort.
