Meritage Resort and Spa Expansion

The Napa Valley, Calif., Meritage Resort and Spa is open after a $40 million expansion that more than doubled the number of guest rooms and remodeled the main lobby to accommodate additional guests. The resort added 165 Tuscan-inspired guest rooms and luxury suites, bringing the total to 322. Each new room includes an oversized bathroom, workspace, and private patio or balcony overlooking the Meritage event piazza or the resort’s nine acres of private vineyards. A 7,300-sq.-ft. ballroom, two covered outdoor terraces for events and two meeting rooms bring the resort’s total meeting space to 50,000 square feet. The piazza is suited for outdoor dinners and receptions, and a lounge with six bowling lanes provides evening entertainment for groups.
