MGM rolls out GroupMAX booking system in Las Vegas
MGM Resorts International has deployed Passkey’s GroupMAX group booking technology across all 11 of its Las Vegas hotels. The GroupMAX reservation suite offers each event a professional booking website where guests can easily make reservations online from any web browser or mobile device, and meeting planners can track room block productivity, run proactive reports and manage rooming lists. Reservations made via GroupMAX’s booking websites directly transfer to MGM’s internal reservation system.
“The centralized housing process creates operational consistency, allowing properties to immediately experience benefits, both from an economic and client satisfaction outlook,” says Greg Pesik, Passkey’s president and CEO.
The resulting elevated service levels to planners include accelerated booking pace, increased reservations within contracted blocks and mitigation of the planner’s attrition risk. Also, GroupMAX’s cloud-based architecture is the industry’s only system that allows meeting planners to track their event data across multiple hotels and venues.
In 2005, MGM’s Mandalay Bay and Luxor properties began using Passkey’s GroupMAX to collaborate with planners, achieving high return on investment and increased dependability.
